Funway Holidays was founded in 2018 by two experienced tourism professionals with over 20 years of expertise in the travel industry, specializing in India, Sri Lanka, Russia, and other South Asian destinations.
The company is led by Managing Director Mr. Tharindu Wickramasinghe, who oversees operations with a strong focus on service quality, strategic partnerships, and client satisfaction. From 2018, the company expanded its operations into inbound tourism in Sri Lanka and outbound travel to Russia, strengthening its position across key travel corridors.
In 2019, Funway Holidays became the official franchise office of Pro India Tourism, a well-established destination management company with operational presence in Delhi, Srinagar, and Ladakh.
Pro India Tourism is led by its Owner and Managing Director, Mr. Ramesh Tickoo, a highly respected professional with over 30 years of experience in the tourism industry, known for his deep destination expertise and strong operational capabilities.
Through this strategic partnership, Funway Holidays offers expanded access to curated travel programs across India, combining local insight, professional ground handling, and high service standards to deliver seamless and memorable travel experiences.
